導讀◎灰鷹

二○○六年十月二十五日下午一點三十分，我看完愛爾蘭作家約翰．康納利的《失物之書》。我朗聲唸完最後一章，倒數兩段尤其讓我濕了眼眶：「一生的時光在此地只不過是一瞬間，而人人皆能依夢想打造自己的天堂。因為所有失落的全已再度尋回，大衛於是在那片黑暗中闔上雙眼（For a man's lifetime was but a moment in that place, and every man dreams his own heaven. And, in the darkness, David closed his eyes as all that was lost was found again.）。」
